Calendar of Events with side Widget

I'm looking for a well-developed calendar of events that either lists the events in a specified order *or* uses a calendar layout as options with the event titles as links to the event page. Also has a corresponding sidebar widget with a smaller calendar display and dates linked that have events. A roll-over snippet of the event would be cool, too.

There is a similar module available on MagentoConnect see http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/MathieuF/extension/1444/events-calendar I have currently got it installed on http://www.gw.co.nz however the developer has abandoned it and is no longer providing support.

For that reason I am also interested in such an extension if you are to develop it. The ability to have a locations field in the add event screen that automatically brings up a googlemap would also be great.

Yes, thank you for the support on the need for this module.

I have used Mathieu's module on a previous project, however it simply won't install on the lastest magento installation I'm working on currently. Also, there is an annoying bug in that the next month disappears on the last day of the current month (so if it's Jan 31st, February disappears).

So... could use one that actually works

I would be interested in a Calendar plugin too.

And if possible that events dates could be used in combination with product or cart to create special rules (something like if you order before event X the product Y has a discount of Z)
